Welcome to quality time in one of Norway's most popular mountain destinations!
This spacious family cabin is beautifully located at Heståsen, between Sjusjøen village and Nordseter, making it an excellent base for an active holiday in every season.

From the cabin, it is only a 200 to 300 metre walk to Sjusjøen's famous cross-country ski trail network, with easy access to Lunkefjell and hundreds of kilometres of prepared trails through forests and open mountain landscapes.

Whether you are planning a family holiday, a trip with friends or preparing for one of the Birkebeiner races, this cabin offers plenty of space and an excellent location.

Cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, cycling and hiking
Sjusjøen is internationally known as one of Norway's leading destinations for cross-country skiing. With more than 350 kilometres of groomed trails, you can easily access one of Scandinavia's finest trail networks.

Alpine skiing is also available nearby at:

One of the area's most popular destinations is Brannhytta. Here you can enjoy freshly baked cinnamon buns and waffles after a hike or bike ride while taking in the mountain views.

Space for the whole family
The cabin accommodates up to 13 guests across four bedrooms and a loft.
Sleeping arrangements:
  • Three bedrooms with double beds, 150 x 200 cm
  • One bedroom with a family bunk bed, 120 cm and 90 cm
  • Loft with two single beds

The spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen provide a welcoming place to gather after a day outdoors, whether you are preparing dinner together or relaxing by the fireplace.

Relax after an active day
After skiing, hiking or cycling, you can settle into one of the two comfortable recliner chairs, light the fireplace and enjoy an evening with family and friends.

The cabin has a new Smart TV with access to popular streaming apps and regular TV channels. Guests can sign in using their own streaming accounts.
The sauna is a relaxing way to end an active day in the mountains.

Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented for NOK 270 per set. Please let us know in good time if you would like to rent them.


Final cleaning:

Final cleaning is included in the price. Guests are kindly asked to prepare the cabin for cleaning according to the checkout instructions.

During the Easter holiday, the cabin can be booked for the following periods:

Friday to Wednesday

Wednesday to Monday

The entire Easter holiday
