Welcome to this family-friendly cabin in Hafjell with mountain view, grill and child-friendly facilities

About the area
The cabin is located at Haugaringen in Hafjell, one of Norway’s most popular mountain destinations all year round. In winter you have ski in/ski out access to the slopes, and Hafjell Alpine Centre offers more than 70 kilometers of runs, terrain parks, lifts and a gondola. From Gaiastova and Pellestova you can access a large network of groomed cross-country trails stretching far into Øyerfjellet.

When the snow melts, the area turns into a paradise for outdoor activities. Hafjell Bike Park is among Europe’s best for downhill biking, and there are hiking trails ranging from short family-friendly walks to longer day trips with scenic views. Nearby you’ll also find Hunderfossen Family Park, Lilleputthammer and Barnas Gård, as well as opportunities for swimming, fishing and canoeing.

About the cabin
The cabin at Haugaringen is bright and spacious, with large windows that bring in natural light. The sunny terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture and a grill, offering lovely views of the mountains – a natural gathering spot both summer and winter.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The living room has a fireplace and comfortable sofas, perfect for long evenings after an active day outdoors.

The first floor features a dining area, kitchen, bathroom, three bedrooms (one with a double bed and two with bunk beds) and entrance hall. The layout provides plenty of space for meals and time together.
Upstairs you’ll find a cozy loft lounge with TV (Roku/Chromecast, no live-TV), two bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom. The loft lounge works well as an extra living space, either for the kids to have their own corner or for adults looking for a quiet retreat.

Practical information
Bed linen and towels are not included. You can bring your own or rent for 250 NOK per set. Rental must be booked well in advance.
Cleaning is included in the total price, but guests are required to prepare the cabin for cleaning according to the instructions. The cleaning fee will appear as a separate line in your booking.
For Easter holidays, bookings are available for the following periods: Friday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Monday, or the entire holiday.
Please be aware that some snow shoveling up to the cabin may be required during heavy snowfall.
Outdoor hot tubs are not permitted.
Calculate some shoveling up to the cabin in winter when it snows a lot.
