Classic mountain cabin with sauna in Ustaoset

Welcome to a charming and spacious mountain cabin with a very central location in Ustaoset, an excellent base for both winter and summer activities in the Norwegian mountains.

The cabin is an older, traditional mountain cabin that has been partially renovated. Underfloor heating has been installed in most areas, providing good comfort throughout the year. The cabin has two floors and offers plenty of space for families or larger groups.

The cabin features two bathrooms, one of which includes a sauna. On the upper floor there are three bedrooms: one with a sofa bed for two people and an additional small bed, one bedroom with three single beds, and one bedroom with a double bed. On the ground floor there are two more bedrooms, one with a family bunk bed and one with a double bed.

On the ground floor you enter into a hallway and kitchen, leading further into a large living room with seating area, dining table and a traditional fireplace with glass doors. From the living room you also have access to a winter garden where you can relax and enjoy the view towards Ustedalsvatnet and the surrounding area of Ustaoset.

There is also a storage room available for skis and outdoor equipment.

The cabin is very well located with groomed cross-country ski tracks right outside the door. Ustaoset is an ideal starting point for exploring Hallingskarvet National Park and Hardangervidda. During summer, the famous Rallarvegen cycling route is easily accessible, and the cabin is also perfectly located for those participating in the Skarverennet cross-country ski race.

This cabin is well suited for guests who value space, a central location and a genuine mountain cabin atmosphere, with nature and outdoor activities just outside the door.

Practical information:

Bed linen and towels: Not included. You can bring your own or rent for 250 NOK per set. Please let us know in advance if you wish to rent.

Cleaning: Cleaning is included in the total price, but you must prepare the accommodation according to instructions. The amount for cleaning is shown as a separate line when booking.

Easter holidays: Bookings during Easter are possible for these periods: Friday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Monday, or the entire period.
