Description

Welcome to a cozy family cabin centrally located at Natrudstilen, Sjusjøen. The cabin has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley, with cross-country trails starting just below. Sjusjøen is famous for its reliable snow, early season, and miles of perfectly groomed trails. Here you have easy access to both cross-country skiing, alpine slopes, and hiking trails all year round.

The cabin and facilities
The cabin is 80 m² and accommodates up to 8 guests across three bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: bunk bed 120 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 cm
Bedroom 2: bunk bed 120 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 cm
Bedroom 3: double bed 150 x 200 cm

The living room is bright and inviting with large windows and a wood-burning fireplace. The open kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining area for the whole group. After a long day of skiing or hiking, you can relax in the cabin’s sauna – the perfect way to unwind and recharge for the next adventure.

For a comfortable stay, the cabin offers:
Ski in/ski out for cross-country skiing – the trails start right outside
Ski waxing room
Terrace with grill and outdoor furniture
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, stove and refrigerator
Free parking right by the cabin
Wifi, Apple TV and DVD player

Activities all year round
In winter, Sjusjøen is one of Norway’s most popular ski destinations, with world-class cross-country trails starting right from the cabin. Sjusjøen Ski Center also offers alpine slopes, a children’s area and ski rental, so the whole family can find activities that suit them. With a long season from October to May, it’s the perfect choice for snow lovers.

In summer, the area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Choose between easy walks around Lake Sjusjøen, longer routes on Ringsaks- and Øyerfjellet, or the classic Birkebeiner Trail. Families can enjoy the pump track, frisbee golf, swimming at Lake Eftastjernet, playgrounds and horseback riding.

A popular excursion is the café at Brannhytta, open daily with freshly baked cinnamon buns and waffles. You can get there on foot, by bike, or by taking the chairlift.

Practical information
Bed linen and towels: Not included. You can bring your own or rent for NOK 250 per set. Please order in advance if you wish to rent.

Cleaning: Included in the final price, but guests must prepare the cabin for cleaning according to instructions.

Easter holidays: Bookings during Easter are possible for these periods: Friday–Wednesday, Wednesday–Monday, or the entire period.
